Daniel J. Sirk 

Partner | Architect

 Mr. Sirk formed SA Group LLC in 2011 after successfully gaining a complete understanding of the Practice of Architecture through positions with nationally and internationally recognized firms. Mr. Sirk handily manages all aspects of design and project management. With experience related to historic preservation, retail, commercial, entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing, education and civic projects, he regularly oversees and implements a design from its earliest stages through commissioning. His philosophy of practice holds that an Architect must always satisfy a client’s aspirations and that a successful project balances financial imperatives with creative solutions.
Mr. Sirk's background includes an assignment in Warsaw, Poland with the international firm, HOK. While there he gained valuable leadership skills in a management role while working in an emerging western style economy.
Since returning to the United States 25 years ago Mr. Sirk has worked throughout the country and is currently licensed in 33 States.  

In recent years he has focused efforts locally. A graduate of urban based St. Ignatius High School ('87) and the University of Detroit Mercy he enjoys being part of the American city evolution and rebirth that is at the heart of the CLE.   

Lawrence C. Divita, AIA

Partner | Architect

Larry has been a registered, professional architect since 1992.  He holds a five-year professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit, and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy.  During his career he has worked on diverse projects from complex medical office buildings, two one-thousand-seat auditoriums, industrial and warehouse buildings, lakeside condominiums, to nine park maintenance structures in a single complex.  Since joining SA Group in 2011, Larry supports the staff in code research, materials/construction, acoustics, and lighting while managing varying projects from adaptive reuse and historic preservation, to retail and multi-family residential.  He believes that good architecture meets the needs of the end-users while integrating care for the built environment in a cost-effective manner.

Outside of the office, Larry enjoys spending time with his family, travel, gardening, and philatelic pursuits.

Todd Hutchinson

Partner | Architect

Todd is a graduate of Kent State University where he earned his Master of Architecture degree. Todd joined the firm in 2014 and manages a wide range of projects across the country including commercial, multi-family residential and has a special focus on senior living. He believes strongly that the built environment has a strong impact on people's lives and works diligently to create buildings and spaces that will provide great experiences for their users.

In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family and their two dogs and has recently taken up pickleball.

David L. Cantrell

Partner | Architect

 David has over 25 years of architectural experience across a wide range of project types. His experience ranges from retail and commercial to industrial and residential projects.  Projects on which he has worked vary from new construction and renovations to historic buildings and have varied in size from small tenant build-outs to multi-building retail facilities.  He is a graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.

In his free time, David enjoys traveling, gaming, attending live events, and working on projects around the house.

David K. Stenroos

Partner | Architect

David graduated from Kent State University with a Masters of Architecture and an MBA degree. Since joining SA group in 2017 David has helped clients across the country through all phases of planning, design, compliance, and construction. While specializing in light industrial and retail architecture he has worked in a multitude of industries and at a variety of scales.  David feels that the built environment should be heavily influenced by those who will experience it and enjoys implementing client and end user programs into design philosophies.

In his free time, David enjoys coaching and watching his kids’ play sports, travelling with friends and family, and playing golf and board games.

Partner | Architect

Dan is a graduate of Kent State University where he earned his Master of Architecture and Master of Business degrees. He is currently licensed in his home state of Ohio and recently added California to his CV as he primarily manages the western US for SA Group. Since joining SA Group in 2012, Dan has managed a wide variety of projects while specializing in commercial retail renovations. He believes that the best way to understand the built environment is through experiential learning by getting your hands dirty and lives that out by giving back whenever possible through participation in construction projects ranging from local charities to global mission trips. 

In his free time, Dan enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling anywhere with mountains, and spending time outdoors with his family, friends, and furbabies. 

Alena Bower

Partner | Architect

Alena is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy where she earned her Master of Architecture degree. Since joining SA Group in 2014, Alena has managed a wide variety of projects while specializing in commercial office renovations and multi-family housing. She believes successful architecture is achieved through collaboration with project stakeholders and is rooted in a sense of care for the built environment.

In her free time, Alena enjoys traveling, cycling, and spending time outdoors with her friends and family.
